Accessibility Statement
Last updated · August 24, 2026
Menya Mori is committed to making menyamori.com usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard referenced by accessibility legislation in Canada.
What we’ve done
- Semantic HTML landmarks and heading structure;
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images;
- Pinch-zoom is always available — the page never blocks zooming, and accidental zoom-out on iOS is prevented without limiting zoom-in;
- Colour choices reviewed for sufficient contrast against the shop’s paper-and-green palette;
- Live seat counts and status updates are announced to assistive technology rather than changing silently;
- Keyboard operability for menus and interactive elements.
Known limitations
Some decorative Japanese typography is presented as stylised text, and event posters shared from third parties may not be fully accessible. The booking flow depends on receiving an SMS and/or email — if neither works for you, contact us directly and we’ll complete your booking another way.
Feedback
If you encounter a barrier on this Website, please tell us at hello@menyamori.comwith “Accessibility” in the subject line. We aim to respond within five business days and will work with you to provide the information you need another way in the meantime.
