Our Mission

At Menya Mori, our goal is not just to serve good ramen - we want to create a community of people who love ramen.

In Japanese, Mori means “Forest” - and the character for forest (森) is comprised of the character for tree (木) written three times. The kanji symbolically represents both the collaborative effort of the team, and also the community of ramen enthusiasts we want to foster.

Every component of every bowl at Menya Mori is made in house. Whether it’s the noodles, the broth, or the toppings, each component is crafted with the intention of creating a balanced and elevated ramen.

We want people to find out that there is more to ramen than just tonkotsu, to learn the difference between a chintan and a paitan, and to appreciate the small details in every bowl.

The Kasey Ramen Story

Founded in December 2020, Kasey Ramen began as a fun hobby, but quickly became a passion selling ramen kits on Instagram. Allen and Geoff connected there over a mutual love for ramen, and began dreaming about one day opening a ramen shop together.

Over the next three years, we strived to improve our ramen every week. After thousands of bowls and kits served, we finally reached a level of quality and consistency that we would be happy to serve at a restaurant.

In late 2023, after a research trip to Japan, Allen and Geoff decided it was time to make their dreams a reality.
